Powerhouse Animation Studios has been working on four 22 minute episodes of Jasper the Mule for Upright Pictures. Jasper is the creation of Meredith Hodges, an expert and enthusiast of long-eared equines, and the daughter of renowned cartoonist Charles M. Schulz. The Jasper cartoons are based on the books written by Meredith and Joyce Doty, and illustrated by Bonnie Shields. The cartoons follow the adventures of Jasper and his friends and are holiday themed. The stories are: A Christmas Caper, Precious Valentine, A Fabulous Fourth, and A Turkey Tale.
